The ladies from the British TV comedy showAbsolutely Fabulous are the faces of Alexis Bittar’s new campaign. The show follows two middle-aged fashionistas with substance abuse problems go about their daily lives. The characters are over the top fabulous and hysterical and I love them.
I’ve blogged about Alexis and his standout pieces before. Click here to see.
Alexa Chung is a style icon. I know…nothing new there. Somewhere, maybe through her modeling or maybe she was just born with it, she not only gets fashion but the girl’s got style. She can be feminine one day and a tomboy the next, but one thing is for sure- she stands out in a crowd in her buttoned up dresses and shirts. She makes being demure incredibly chic.
In honor of Australian Day I wanted to bring you some fashion from down under. Rachel Ruddik is a small leather goods and jewelry designer who has not yet made it to the States. I love this bright-colored large sting ray cuff. Available at Farfetched for $154.
Yves Saint Laurent just released a new product: ROUGE PUR COUTURE Vernis À Lèvres Glossy Stain. (Glad it has a short name!)
This is a new type of lip gloss/stain-whatever you want to call it- that YSL is just bringing to the market . Apparently there is nothing like it. The look and feel are that of a gloss, but you will get the long wear like you would from a lip stain. If you are anything like me I spend way to much money on cosmetics so I can’t wait to try this out. If you’ve tested it let me know what you think. Available in 20 colors you can purchase this new product at Sephora for $32.
I’ve got Spring Fever and it’s not because it 75° in Los Angeles right now. Check out some of the images below of Chanel’s Haute Couture Spring 2012 show in Paris. The show’s set was designed to look like an airplane and the color trend was light blue and black. Oh how I wish I could have been there.
