Please tell me Birkenstocks are not coming back with the flood of 90′s inspired clothing. Perfect for the grungy, I-don’t-care-what-I-look-like-I dress-for-comfort type of person. This is exactly what is wrong with them. Céline’s Phoebe Philo recently created a shoe similar to the Birkenstock, but took it to a whole other level. Do we really need or want this shoe lined with mink and jewel-encrusted? This will give people the idea that they are back and they are cool again. Really!?
Colder weather brings bigger clothing so stock up on some belts to prove to the word you still have a shape under all those layers. While at the event I did find an amazing Louboutin artemis ostrich feather bag that I had to try on. This bag is so fun, but Robert is exactly right – prices have gotten out of control! It never hurts to play dress up however. This bag is $2195 so I would be so much better off buying a pair of his sunglasses that everyone is going to see while this is under the table at dinner. Hmmm, how many pair of Robert Verdi sunglasses could I buy instead of this bag? It would have to be a really big bowl to fit all of those glasses.

What a great alternative to ballet flats. I think slippers are classy and bring a little sophistication to any out fit where you would have other wise worn flip flops or other flats. I found them in all price ranges and fabrics. This is a must have for fall.

Today is daylight savings. Is anyone else sleep walking today? Springing forward is always pretty tough, but it helps if you have something pretty to look at.
